Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves the use of a specialised device equipped with fine, sterile needles. These needles are used to create thousands of tiny, controlled punctures or micro-injuries in the top layer of the skin. This process is designed to stimulate the body’s natural wound healing mechanisms. As the skin repairs itself, it increases cell turnover and, crucially, boosts the production of new collagen and elastin – the key structural proteins responsible for skin's firmness, smoothness, and elasticity.
